【Purpose of the Event】
The global space industry has been growing in recent years, with the global satellite industry expected to reach $308.3 billion by 2023 and an annual growth rate of 4.5%, according to research institute Trend-Force. The ground equipment sector represents more than half of the share.
To take advantage of this opportunity, the Taiwan government has listed Beyond 5G Communication (B5G) as one of the nation's core strategic industries and allocated over $906 million to enhance Taiwan's advanced communication capabilities. Furthermore, with its precision manufacturing and semiconductor production, Taiwan is an ideal partner for global satcom companies to improve capabilities and reduce hardware production costs. This event will feature relevant development, incentives and resources in Taiwan with an aim to build up connection and foster industrial cooperation with satcom companies in the US.
